SEA AT SUNDOWN
I was singing in another care home this afternoon. The room we were in had a lovely view over the sea and I kept glancing at how the light and weather were changing and hoping I could get a blip when we'd finished. However, the weather closed in and I just managed this before getting me and the camera back into the car and out of the sleety rain, and just before it got dark.
One resident of the care home scrutinised us all rather fiercely while we sang our first half and then told us she used to love singing, and sang us a Christmas song that none of us recognised before announcing that she's 95. She then joined in all through the second half. It was a lovely atmosphere.
