DIG IT

I was woken at crack of dawn (literally, sunrise was 8.12am) by one of these chaps at the front door asking me to move the car as they needed to dig up the pavement. They're installing super-ultra-very-whizzy-fast fibre broadband all over the town and there are temporary traffic lights everywhere you turn at the moment. It seems it's our turn for the next few days. I would have been up and about normally but after my lovely day out in Durham yesterday, followed by singing with the choir in a Christmas concert last night, I was really tired and slept right through.
