Beaver night hike

I'm falling foul of parents letters that say one thing, but mean something else, which has made me grumpy, along with a few other things. The boys had a fab 'night hike' this evening, which included chips from the chip shop. I picked them up 15 minutes late as there were two different times given and I read thw wrong one. School have also sent a letter about the annual humiliate your child nativity with no mention of a dress rehearsal tomorrow. (The boys have never enjoyed the stage, the youngest finds it very stressful). 

Anyway, aside from the lack of thespian genes, they have had a very nice day, I've managed to get a lot of things done and the husband has had his work Christmas party.
