City Heron

Wonder of wonders…we had house cleaners over for the first time since before covid…. a crew of five  (more than their usual) that did a great job in less than 2 hours.…the spiders will not be happy…all their little webs are gone. And loads of dust on the top of paintings… This is how we envisioned our “retirement home”…less work.   Less expensive than moving.    And to make it even better, I didn’t watch but went over to my friend R’s for some of her fine butternut soup and great chat.    
Saw this city heron on the morning walk. 
AND…we put up some holiday lights outside!!  (extra) and got a Christmas box out of storage.  Pretty exciting day   :-)
