Peggy and Art

I didn’t really want a portrait blip but this was better than the other few shots I had today.. We met these two at a restaurant at a marina north of here and intended to have a walk after lunch outside to see the decorated boats,  but it was raining and nasty so you get us inside instead of wet boats and santas.    Art and Herb met when H started his residency at the UW in 1969 and Art was already practicing…he’s 88…and then he followed H to the practice in Everett.  He did retire first (barely) and we’ve tried to keep in touch. A friendship of 53 years.   But it’s been 3 years this time around.  They are a remarkable couple and we had a great catchup.

Off to Oskar’s bball game tonight
