Chilly

Another bitingly cold day, but I braved it to take some pictures of the frost on top of the gates.  The birds have also reappeared in significant numbers, which is heartening to see.  Extra.

We recently ordered a picture by Mike Sheppard from John  Lewis, which arrived this morning.  Unfortunately the glass was cracked so we are waiting to hear what they propose to do about it.  It was extremely well packed, but I suspect the glass had a slight crack when they cut it and it expanded in transit.

Out for an Indian meal with two sets of neighbours tonight.  It'll be fun.
