Apples . . .

. . . in the snow. A light covering of snow fell in the night and was not for melting today, despite the lovely sunshine. Here are a few of the many apples that fell from the tree and now cover the grass at the front of the house.

At all times of the day there are Blackbirds feeding on the apples, we have counted 12 at once. Watching them is great entertainment whilst doing the washing up. 

There are always a few Blackbirds on the apples . . . 

. . . until I go out to take a photograph!! Then they disappear . . . and wait (see extra)
