First Mow ~ 2013!

Wild flowers in a meadow are so lovely... but when they appear on a lawn, they are pesky weeds. Everytime it is time to mow the lawn, I feel sad for those pesky weeds. Somehow, though, they always grow back.

My son came to visit for Mother's Day this weekend. He decided it was time to give the lawn its first haircut! Blipped the lawn, the weeds and my son! I am happy he will be with me till Sunday. My daughter will be arriving tomorrow. I love family time.

Today was a perfect weather day. Sunny, warm and mild. I had an eye exam this morning and they dilated my eyes. I had a blurry afternoon! The bird is still sitting up in the nest!
