I Don't Believe It!

Having removed a number of caterpillars from the gooseberry bushes, what do I find today?
Snails!
There were at least eight of them, two of which seemed very good friends!
They are about a metre from the ground and must have slithered their way over and around thorns and knobbly bits to get to this.
I think this is a white-lipped snail but I'm going to call him Brian after The Magic Roundabout.
P.S. I knew this reminded me of something. Mr Bean and his "twiglets" at his New Year Party!
