It was minus 5 today. I didn’t feel well. But we cleaned the house and went for a walk (it was actually very sunny) which is when I came across these frozen leaves. Later in the day I could have happily crawled into bed and had done with it, I felt that rough.
We watched an old 80s movie tonight (Trading Places) which has aged a bit (particularly gratuitous boob flashing) but remains en pointe in terms of being a takedown of the American Dream. And Denholm Elliot is an absolute legend, as he is in most of his films. Egg nog!
England got dumped out of the QCDP (Qatar Corruption, Death and Prejudice) World Cup by France. Am I bovvered? It should never have been allowed to happen.
Tough winter this one.
