Film night

A busy day! S and I got a lift into the village and we spent the afternoon with a small team of adults and quite a few little kids getting things ready at the hall. Cannon and F helped cut the Christmas tree to size and get in in the hall and in the the stand. We then spent a good few hours decorating it, figuring out the lights and setting up the projector. We walked home/S zipped along on her bike with her colourful wheel lights, Cannon picked us up at the gate. Home for a quick bath and dinner then back to the hall for Christmas film night! There were about 30 children all with blankets and pillows sat on the mats with hot chocolate and popcorn. Lots of parents stayed too and we had mulled wine on the sofas. I really love this community, the hall and the events we organise. Film night was a huge success and we are already thinking about the next one.
