We did it Melanie!

Our concert went well and the very full audience showed their appreciation with applause and wonderful donations to Melanie’s chosen charity, Singing with Dementia. A happy evening!

We learnt the football results as we left….

We had had an invitation to join Valerie and her family in Yeovil tomorrow for her birthday bowling party. Time wasn’t in our favour, a day trip really, and she discouraged us from seriously thinking about going. I think the weather has helped with our disappointment. Travel would not be fun.

We’ve saved our concert cakes for tomorrow. They can be birthday cakes.
