Still frozen

The frost hasn't lifted in most places over the past few days , with just a little thawing where brief direct sunlight strikes though the sun only comes over the trees around mid-day and has set behind the hills on the other side of the loch by 3.30 .

It is the coldest continuous spell for some years but no snow here as yet, although there has been some in the east and north.
