Bye for now.
A whirlwind 36 hours with the girls as the family left shortly after breakfast this morning.
We had so much fun in such a short time. Son Alex came for a meal with us last night and as usual the girls (Eda in particular) had great fun with him - see selfie in the extra.
Jude was very taken with the Christmas tree ornaments that were near to the ground, she didn’t seem interested in any that were higher up, and spent ages playing with them. Like this shot as it shows how much her hair has now grown.
We will see them again in less than two weeks.
We have just been out for a late Sunday lunch at the Malt Shovel in the village as we are doing an ATN concert in Bingley Arts Centre tonight and we have to be there at 5.00pm. There has been one this afternoon too but we didn’t feel we could do that with the family being here and Chris’s church commitments this morning. Hopefully it will go well, it’s three years since we last did this Christmas concert due to Covid.
Seems impossible now what an impact it so recently had on us all.
It appears they were going home to snow in Bath, not all in the north!
