Thank goodness..

.. we settled for a 7 year old property in Devon, superbly well insulated, and with an air source heat pump, and didn't opt for some of the houses we looked at, especially in Wales, which would have cost a fortune to heat!
You can choose your house but not necessarily your neighbours!
