Frozen landscape

I was hoping for a spectacular sunset in the frosty air over Mote Park lake. The sunset was disappointing but the lake shows how cold it’s been here.

Yesterday evening’s snow caused its predictable chaos, with all the main roads quickly gridlocked. There wasn’t much snow, maybe only a couple of inches.

Our road remains uncleared, pavements and roads both icy. Supposed to be a sharp frost again tonight.

Chris finally got away back to California this afternoon after a 48 hour delay. Landon hadn’t been very well at all while he’s been in the UK. I think he’s on the mend. Madison has been well looked after as Carly has been staying with her mum, with photos of a sleeping baby flying through the airwaves. We’ve been told she hasn’t always been sweetness and light!
