On Barton

I’ve been on the look out for a table and a couple came up locally on Facebook marketplace. I got lost in the more obscure reaches of Penrith this morning looking for the first one which turned out not to be suitable so I went for a walk. I had hoped the conditions might be good for a chance of a Brocken spectre but I was soon enveloped in fog. 
It was very disorientating and I was glad when these guys emerged so that I could find my way back.

When I came back to earth I checked out the second table. The couple selling it were moving to Kendal and having a clear out. We somehow got it into the back of my little car and, even more somehow, I managed to get it out and into the house when I got home.
