Bluebells begin

This morning I received a text from a friend telling me that the bluebells were out near her. This inspired me to head out to my favourite local woods to see if any had popped up there. I was not disappointed. The bluebells are just beginning to come out and in parts there was a beautiful blue blanket between the trees. I like the light and detail of this shot. They are such beautiful little flowers.

I will be going back to get some more shots once the weather picks up. I love bluebell woods!
