Sunday: Roadside Palms

I’m looking forward to a much quieter week ahead.  Although, to be fair, I’m very lucky in that I don’t have to do any of the cleaning up associated with yesterday.  Some of the team came in this morning and packed up the tables - the rest will be taken care of over the next few days.

K and I met Geoff and Sam for lunch at ‘Hambre’, the new restaurant in town.  It was a little disappointing in that half the dishes weren’t available.  The manageress told us that we shouldn’t really bother coming on a Sunday as they will be low on ingredients.  To my mind, I think they probably shouldn’t open on a Sunday then.  That said, my pasta was very tasty.

Downtown Belmopan has plenty of greenery on the roadsides.
