Another Cold Day, Another Walk
The temperature was up a little from yesterday and some of the trees and shrubs in the sunshine slowly began to thaw.
A and I decided not to use the car today We walked from home to Letheringsett and at the mid-point of our walk we stopped at Thurlows Tea Room in the watermill. Michelle had just cooked a batch of sausage rolls, using their own milled flour and even their own-reared pork. Still warm from the oven, with melt-in-the mouth pastry and a generous sprinkling of fresh rosemary it was delicious.
I had become quite warm with walking so I went straight out into the garden when I got home and swept and gathered up lots of fallen leaves.
Another cold, but beautiful day.
