Surprise!

I awoke to find Narnia in the garden. This was delightful. The snowflakes were large, and all sounds muffled.

Couldn't see how the minibus could drive my group of elders to a concert in Nailsworth, so set about cancelling that trip. The snow had taken us all by surprise, arriving overnight without warning. Indie the cat was definitely not impressed.

I didn't go out, but watched Steve clear a path in the front and back garden, and watched the snow pile heavier and heavier onto slender twigs and branches, until eventually it collapsed. It will take more than a day or two of temperatures above zero to shift this lot, though, and more snow is forecast for later in the week.
