The accidental finding

By woodpeckers

Goodbye Germany

...and to the Mosel at Koblenz.

We left at 7.30 am and I got back to Stroud at 1am the same day. Crossing the channel takes longer these days because of the post-Brexit paperwork, but it's a long way to travel, even without borders.

The good things:
D is forgetting words and names. These include  that of one Jacob Rees-Mogg.
I have not killed D yet. I had to walk away from him once on the ferry. I can't even remember why now.  I was very, very sleep-deprived.
I really, really liked the Rhineland would like to return.
CS picked me up in Stroud.
CS liked the vodka and brandy I brought him
I had already booked Tuesday off work.

The rest is not worth talking about. Next year I will not be going anywhere further  by coach than Normandy or Brittany. I have already booked a tour of Northern Ireland and the Republic with same company for May next year. I am not going with D, and forewarned is forearmed.
