Gloucestershire snow day

It was a very slippery slide into the village to catch the final posting day for 2nd class this afternoon. I have little confidence they will get there this year.

Only one letter arrived today, posted, in Gloucester over 2 weeks ago, informing me of an important appointment that I had no knowledge of, and thanks to the postal strikes, I had now missed! Hey ho!

The so called first normal U.K. Christmas since 2019 is facing significant challenges including escalating costs, turkey shortages, and industrial action on many fronts and of course, no Queen’s Speech.

As we walked up our road we looked at the thatched cottages and reflected on all the history they had witnessed … stuff has happened and they are still here.
