Winter wonderland

The weather was awful this morning when we set off for York, freezing fog most of the way and quite a bit of snow around, that’s until we got about 5 miles out of Scarborough and in York no snow, no icy pavements.

After my blood test we stopped off at Monks Cross and did a bit of shopping, got most of our presents now, just the wrapping and cards to sort.

On the way home we took a drive up Staxton hill and it was like a different world the sky was blue and the trees were amazing with the sun on them.

Another cold night with clear skies.
