Poinsettia.

The weather never changed today still grey and foggy the cloud was so low you could almost touch it. A day for staying close to home.

I did do some baking this afternoon and wrote the cards, Mr PC went to the post office with them he was told he was a day late for second class but sent them anyway. 

My blip today is the flower of the poinsettia , I think they look like little aliens with their mouths open. The true flowers of poinsettias, called cyanthia, are small clusters of yellow blooms in the open center of the red floral bracts. These small flowers have no true petals attached, but are surrounded by red colored bracts, which are actually modified leaves.
