TT Words

The challenge for Tiny Tuesday today is "words". (Thanks MaryElizaR).
There is a very old sewing machine in the back shed. I assumed it was a Singer, but on photographing the words on it, I discovered it is a White, which I'd never heard of. 
Apparently they were invented in 1858 and sold widely in America until the late 20th century. This must have been one of the early models but unfortunately it is in very poor condition.
