Grey Heron

Temperatures had dropped to -6 this morning at the loch. The young one flew over and met me at the entrance. I had taken extra fish for both her and the male (and any of the missing 2 if they showed up). The young one had most of her share from the grass then took off back to the loch. I made my way over and caught her on the ice at the side of the loch. I then made my way round to the male, who got his share. There was no sign of the other two. I fed the crows at various stages on my way around the park.
