Brass Monkeys

Stressful morning trying to sort out our frozen pipes (nothing to be done except apply heat and hope for the best) and also fix our heating (on the phone to Worcester Bosch for a couple of hours). Radiators now seem to be sorted thank goodness. Off to Dunbar to visit friends after lunch (positively balmy -1 there). We all went out for an Italian meal and then on to the Dunbar Choral Society Christmas concert in the evening. Handel’s Messiah, brass ensemble and participatory Christmas Carols. Put us in a very festive mood after all the morning shenanigans. Icy journey home. I’m glad Mr P was driving!
