A grand morning out.

A most enjoyable visit to a specialist Natural History bookshop which does most of its trade on line. Visitors welcomed by appointment. What a pleasure to spend an hour browsing among thousands of books covering every aspect of the natural world.

Beautiful weather for our trip too.

The bookstore was one  minute off the M6 motorway in a small collection of buildings next to open country.
My main shot shows the wintery scene just next to the bookstore.
There are some extras too. One is a fine tree next to the car park. One a corner of the bookstore. And one of the estuary looking bask at Arnside Knott.
