Wilting

We arrived home at 12.45am and got to bed at 02.25 so why did we wake up just after 7am. Not enough sleep for me but I pushed through and we did a food shop in the morning and a short local walk in the afternoon to catch up with the latest on the local river restoration project. They are now working on constructing the 70 metre footbridge for the South West coast path. We could hear the pile driving this morning. 
The rose is wilting just like I was by the end of the day, it has been sitting in a vase while we were away.
