Exmoor and Devon
Big decision this morning as to whether to go to Exmoor as the weather forecast was not good.
We bit the bullet and decided to go. There were times of extreme cold, winds and rain.
The landscape picture at the top, was in Devon on the way to Exmoor. I decided that for the first time I would get my tripod out and take a decent photo! Only just got the camera on it, and it poured down. Had to leap back in the car, rather wet.
Then we stopped at Tiverton, where we timed it right to see the canal boat being pulled by the horse along the Tiverton Canal.
The bottom photographs of the animals are taken on the moors. It was bitterly cold and very windy, glad to get back into the car. We were going to stay at Exford, but found that it w all booked out, as the Golden Horse Shoe (horse endurance) was on.
We ended up going to the coast and have booked in at Lynmouth.
