Ice Pancakes on The White Cart

A beautiful day with even a little warmth in the sunshine.

Still plenty of frost around and even some ice forming in the open water on the river although much of it remains frozen.

So many possibilities for a blip today but I opted for the rather unusual ice pancakes. I had to climb over a style and walk across a very frosty field up to the weir where the ice pancakes were forming.

I put in a couple of extras of some interesting things I saw on my walk. If I had lost my glasses I wouldn’t have found my way out of the park!
