Sunshine

.......... at last we saw the sun today with a lovely blue sky but the back garden still didn’t get above minus 1 all day, despite the appearance of the sun, after being minus 9 when I first got up.

We kept all the bird feeders topped up, so hopefully nobody went hungry but it’s really hard to provide water - it just freezes not long after it’s been put out - poor birds, I feel so sorry for them and all the other wildlife trying to manage these freezing conditions :-(
