Christmas decorations .... Honesty

Early start from the cold north, minus 7 when we started at 7.30am.
Wife1 not feeling too good, heavy cold moving to her ears, always susceptible to infection and raging earache. 
Both of us concerned that the windscreen washers still frozen. Going home means driving south, into the sun and of course today the sky is completely clear.
It was not too bad until the last 70 miles, several stops to wipe the screen but no delays or problems. The last bit of the trip was on small two lane roads and all the muck from lorries going the other way keep covering my screen, and the sun was straight in front of us. About ten stops and almost running out of water.
Finally home, very relieved. just crashed out for the rest of the day, early night. Nothing happening for a few days fortunately
