Green Sea Turtle Egg Rescue
A Green Sea Turtle laid its eggs (100 on average) on the beach out the front of home overnight. This morning they (a community group) are moving the nest, as the position is very bad (at risk from high tides and large seas that come during summer cyclones). The group is seen in the Extra moving the eggs to higher ground (higher in the dunes, top of shot). The second Extra is a close up the eggs in the original nest....
