As well as the hot and cold pipes feeding the old sink, the ancient and corroded confusion of T-joints and unused capped-off stubs from the days when washing machines had hot fills have now been cleared from the north-west corner, albeit with pipes which already look as old as the sections they replaced as they were probably contemporary, though have been sitting in the garage being gently colonised by dust and spiders in the years since this arrangement was installed.
