After picking up the Minky from pink Granny, I realised it had been a while since we’d had a nosey around Lauriston Castle. And it would be a fine day for it, as everything is still quite frozen, and magical - well, hopefully, if you’re a child. It certainly seemed magical to me. As we cynics always suspected. Meanwhile the council touts the laudable idea of "twenty minute” neighbourhoods where all your services (GP, school, shops) are within a twenty minute walk. On the ground, just like West Harbour, there’s not so much as bloody cafe.
