What struck my fancy

The Cuillins

are a distinctive mountainous feature of the Isle of Skye (Scotland UK) and this is the view you get from the winding narrow road leading to Glen Brittle. The blackish central patch is forest.

The road itself was bedevilled with icy stretches and looked as if it had only been partly gritted making for some cautious and interesting driving.
