Tramps

The weather is slowly changing, it was dark, damp and cold but the ice was clearing in the rain.  We went out late in the morning for coffee having discovered another place, Sangers Deli, an American influenced pizza cafe that serves pretty good coffee.  It occupies one of the many railway arches not too far from The Hive.

On the way home I took a photo of this impressive building, Tramps NightClub on Angel Place.  Of course it didn't start out as a nightclub, but as a Congregational Church built in the 1859 to replace the original Angel Street Congregational Church built in 1702 which was one of the first places in Worcester to offer education to the poorer boys and girls of the city.

In other news: I'm not a big football fan, preferring rugby such as the Six Nations, but as it was pouring with rain after lunch and I had nothing better to do, I decided to watch the World Cup Final.  France didn't seem to turn up until well into the first half then the game became interesting and ended up, after extra time and penalties, quite exciting.  I think the best team won.
