The carol singers appeared

I was putting away the boxes for Christmas tree toys today, when I found the box for the carol singers. Press a button and they play a long medley of carols.

I don’t seem to have achieved much today.

I did make a large quantity of parsnip and ginger, courtesy of Jamie Oliver. When I checked it after blending, there were stringy bits and it tasted bitter. I sieved it all and it seems OK. I may add coconut milk to be sure.

My kitchen was in a mess after the soup debacle, but it looks better after lots of washing up.

Julie and I have booked 2 shows at the Theatre Royal in January. Nice to look forward to.
