After sunset
Yesterday’s blip was so late that you may not have seen it.
Today’s is early because I have a lot to do tonight.
This is the first time an image has rotated through 90 degrees as I uploaded it. I’ll fix it asap.
Today Mum had her much longed for appointment with a new ophthalmologist. We had to go privately but I don’t think that either of us could have waited much longer.
First though, Derek came and repaired Mum’s wheelchair. Brilliant man!
The consultant was also brilliant. He listened patiently to the complicated story, asking occasional questions.
The examination is always a challenge because Mum cannot get her chin on the apparatus for the slit lamp examination. I had to hold her under her arms to give a bit of lift so that any examination could be done. (Not good for the back!)
Two hours later we came away with a very complicated set of instructions for new eye drops. The regime is hourly and sometimes involves two sorts of drops with 10 minutes between.
Two hourly has been hard, but this will be good if we can make it work.
We arrived home just before the last light disappeared. I like the bare branches and the way they curve around.
