Christmas preparations

The temperature has changed dramatically today and we woke to rain!  It is about 12C at present; at this time yesterday it was about -4C.  Typical of the changing Scottish weather system.  It is not so pretty out of doors as it has been with the frosty weather, but at least it is not so cold for people who have been struggling for whatever reason with heating.

Bob is off driving for a club recce today.  I had a very quick walk around the block in the rain just to get some fresh air, but other than that have spent time in the kitchen, and also wrapping presents, although I did take a break to watch the last episode of 'The Handmaiden's Tale'..... a very dark story indeed.

Have made the chocolate truffles for Christmas day!
