Under the tree

Have been out to lunch today and then Maeve and I went to visit Pat in her care home.  It was buzzing as they had a Christmas party going on with a singer of Christmas songs.  We had a wee boogie!

Pat was just the same, can't have much of a conversation with her sadly, as she cannot speak very well, but we had a few laughs, and we were pleased to hear that her daughter, s-i-l and one granddaughter will be arriving tomorrow for a couple of days' visit, and Pat is excited about that.  

While we were there a lady arrived from Pat's church with a very beautiful plant for her, which was lovely, and she stayed for a bit before going on to her other deliveries.

I totally forgot to take a photo, which is a pity as the party would have been a good one if I was allowed to take it, so I have snapped under the tree.  There are some presents missing as I have a husband who cannot resist trying to 'guess' what is in the parcels for him!  Better to keep them away from his prying eyes!
