The boundary rope

This is a view of the Oxford University cricket ground, in the University Parks.

It's one of the loveliest cricket grounds in England. The pavilion was designed by a well-known Victorian architect, Thomas Graham Jackson, who also designed many landmark Oxford buildings.

I chose this shot as it gives the best sense of the vista across the pitch to the trees that encircle the ground.
