Packwood House. National Trust……

…….decorated for Christmas.
We decided to go this morning, really on the spur of the moment!

It was beautiful. This particular room theme was “The Nutcracker”. the fairy tale, which is also depicted in the wonderful ballet by Tchaikovsky which we have seen several times, when it has been staged by the Birmingham Royal Ballet at Christmas. Sheer delight.
A lovely sunny bright day. No signs of any vestiges of the exceptionally cold weather.
