Watery

Until the end of September, this was our local cricket field which frequently flooded. As part of the ongoing project, the cricket field has moved further inland and will no longer flood. With all the recent rain, this is how the area will look in the future. They are currently working on a 70 feet pedestrian bridge which will take the SWCP.
We set off this morning to visit our local farm shop but then discovered it was closed, impassable due to the floods. We spoke to the farmer and he said they hope to arrange some plans. I looked on Facebook this evening and the friendly people at Kier who have been carrying out all the work are letting the farm set up a pop up shop in their site buildings from Thursday until Saturday so they can sell their produce. Excellent news.
On this lovely balmy day, I spent nearly two hours in the garden this afternoon tidying up leaves etc.
