Party!!

Half day for me, day off for the husband, boys hoiked out of club early and off we all trotted to London for a Christmas party. One of the best we go to, added benefit is seeing lots of friends and acquaintances. 

Treated ourselves to first class train tickets home (truth is standard was sold out and first class was £10 more and had tickets). Disaster struck, our train home was cancelled. Disaster averted, got one going 3 minutes earlier and enjoyed our first class seats - and got £20 refund on the cancelled train. Surely there is a problem with the business model they are running!
