Tuesday: Salads for Christmas

Dry, bright and breezy when we got up temperature 8°C, the washing on the line by 9am … and dry by 1pm :-)
Went to check on my salads in the greenhouse: mixed lettuce and wild rocket at the top and red Italian chicory, which I’ve grown for the past few years, sometimes it flowers - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2758064951728802528 - they’ll be a refreshing change as Christmas salad :-))
We had a lovely surprise this afternoon when Antonio visited - he was great pals with our Jones Kids when they were all youngsters. He has a little boy of his own who is as clever and sweet as his dad.
We watched “Molly’s Game” this evening, starring Idris Elba, a very unusual story which was quite harrowing in parts.
