Evan's turn

Evan is writing and illustrating books for everyone on his list. Tonight I offered Ed Emberley's thumbprint technique. He loved it. 

Update from yesterday: my neighbor is still in the ER. Still no rooms available in the hospital, but they've moved her out of the hallway into a small private cubicle. I took her a suitcase full of things she wanted from her apartment.

News update: Sue's twin brother lives very near the epicenter of the California earthquake. It was quite frightening, and now he, like thousands of others in the area, have no electricity. Their phone charge is dying....
