Procuring merriment
It's the season for it, after all. The spirits were high, and served in generous measures.
Much earlier the cat and I were all psyched up for the near magical and definitely mystical experience of watching the live stream of the sun rays slowly making their way to the very end of the chamber at Brú na Bóinne, the passage tomb in Newgrange.
Instead we were treated to two elongated girls in colourful woolly hats talking at the speed of light in Irish for a full half hour (jeez, they had a lot to talk about).
Well done TG4. I don't think I would entrust them to organise a piss-up in a brewery...
